"I do not know what makes some of us feel a need to share our passions and expose our souls, but it is clearly a very strong pull. I also don't know which
comes first- the art making or the passion. I am acutely aware that we make art about what we are intimately involved with and our environment.
The beauty of this vast marsh has certainly captured my spiritual attention, and it is mostly what I have painted since moving to the area. But recently after looking back
at my older works I have become fascinated with the imagination and creativity of these three dimensional works, and have had so much fun revisiting this process. PLUS I have
way too much valuable trash to throw away!"
